Information We Collect

Information Stored Locally

Swifto stores the following information locally on your device:

  • Your learning progress (completed lessons, quiz scores)
  • Experience points (XP) and level
  • Daily streak data
  • Achievements earned
  • App preferences and settings
  • Bookmarked questions
  • Daily activity history

This data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework and remains on your device. We do not have access to this information.

iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you enable iCloud sync in your device settings, your learning progress may be synced across your devices using Apple's CloudKit service. This data is encrypted and managed by Apple according to their privacy practices. We do not have direct access to your iCloud data.

Information We Do NOT Collect

Swifto does not collect:

  • Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
  • Location data
  • Device identifiers
  • Usage analytics
  • Advertising identifiers
  • Any data for third-party advertising

How We Use Your Information

The information stored locally on your device is used solely to:

  • Track your learning progress within the app
  • Calculate and display your XP, level, and streak
  • Unlock and display achievements
  • Provide personalized quick review sessions based on your mistakes
  • Display your activity history and statistics
  • Remember your app preferences

Data Storage and Security

All your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure storage mechanisms. If you use iCloud sync, your data is encrypted in transit and at rest according to Apple's security standards.

We do not operate servers that store your personal data. Your information never leaves your device unless you have enabled iCloud sync, in which case it is managed by Apple.

Third-Party Services

Swifto does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only third-party service that may be involved is Apple's CloudKit if you enable iCloud sync.

Notifications

If you enable daily reminder notifications, this preference is stored locally on your device. Notifications are scheduled locally using Apple's notification framework. We do not send push notifications from external servers.

Children's Privacy

Swifto is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no personal data is collected or transmitted, the app is safe for users of all ages.

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by:

  • Using the "Reset All Progress" option in the app's Settings
  • Uninstalling the app from your device

If you have enabled iCloud sync, you may also need to delete the app's data from your iCloud storage through your device's Settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
